As a video editor, interviews can go one of two ways. Either the client has no idea what video editing even is, and they're relying on your technical ability to help them get what they want, OR the client knows (almost) too much about video editing and may try to trip you up with their video editing knowledge.

Either way, these video editing interview tips will help you prepare for whatever situation you might find yourself in! Getting video editing work can be tough sometimes, and interviews definitely don’t make it any easier. It’s important to impress the client with your experience but also reel them in with your winning attitude.
